Elly’s Ice Cream - Available Positions: Day Manager

Elly’s Ice Cream is a modern ice cream shop serving artfully delicious super premium ice cream treats with perfectly endless combinations.

We are looking for friendly, outgoing and dependable employees who provides superior customer service, while maintaining a very clean, organized and well-run space. If you love to have fun while you work and are ready to work in a fun environment, we would love to hear from you!

 

The day manager/baker role is from 11:45 - 4:00 Monday - Friday.

 

Applicants should possess superior customer service skills, be highly organized, capable of working independently and be prepared to work in a variety of capacities including:

Understanding and learning the shop menu to craft artfully delicious treats with precision, consistency and attention to detail

 

Ensure opening, closing and downtime procedures are being executed on shifts worked

Keeping the overall appearance of the shop in its best condition

Coaching employees on shifts worked when cleaning or stocking of items are missed or not done correctly

 

Ensure shop equipment is kept clean including shake machines and waffle maker

Flagging to employees when items on opening and closing checklist are not met

Conducting walk-thru on shifts to ensure opening and closing checklists items are crossed off

Making list for next shift manager for ‘to do items’ to be addressed

Operating the soft-serve machine maintenance

Managing inventory and maintaining retail

Baking shop goods and making custom toppings
